Bateman seems to be an expert marksman, delivering killing shots every single time. He disposes of the cops with ease, then he shoots the cleaner at the elevator from a considerable distance without much aiming. Such shooting skills indicate that Bateman is a well-practiced situational shooter, but there's no mention of this in either the movie or the novel.
