Near the end of the movie, it is declared that Colonel Jessep is "under arrest." This is incorrect; under the Uniform Code of Military Justice, the equivalent of an "arrest" in civilian terms would be "apprehension". "Arrest" in the military refers to an ordered restriction to certain limits pending a court-martial (as an alternative to being put in confinement before court-martial).
