The bystander asks the victim (lab nurse) if she is OK and straight away states that it looks like all her blood has been drained. There is a long way between the two statements: ask if the person is OK, check for breathing and movements, skip checking the pulse as the person is unconscious and not breathing, call for help, start CPR, ask for a bystander to get a defibrillator... then ask yourself if the person has had all their blood sucked out by a vampire creature from the SSCU.
