The hotel clerk asks "wherefore art thou Romeo" while looking for paperwork on a guest named Romeo, however this phrase does not mean "where are you, Romeo?", rather it means "WHY are you Romeo?" In the context of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet is wondering aloud why Romeo is who he is... because she is forbidden to socialize with his family. She's bemoaning her bad luck at being in love with someone she's not allowed to be in love with. The phrase has nothing to do with location, so it doesn't make sense for the clerk to say it while looking for Romeo's paperwork. It's a common misunderstanding of Shakespeare but an error all the same.
