No one ever mentions the fact that law enforcement would be looking for them even though they have committed a Federal offense (Armed bank robbery) that the FBI would be involved in; Use of an explosive device while committing a Felony that the ATF would be involved in; as well as State and Local charges ranging from attempted murder (the man shot in the bank), felonious assault with a weapon, felony eluding, assault on a police officer, to any injuries to the pursuing police officers as a result of the chase, etc.Nick and Chet would be the most wanted criminals in the State of Michigan following the bank robbery and flight from the police.
