The boat driven by Hailey was a 1975 Grew 250 (a built-in-Canada, license built Slickcraft 245). I've never seen one of those with the helm on the port side, and they never had one of those cheesy wooden ship's wheels. I was amazed by how Hailey was able to start the engine by touching what was probably a depth-sounder/fish finder, and pull away from the dock without apparently touching the throttle.
