The small town of Chesterfield is supposed to be in the U.S. state of Maryland. When Mike picks Steve up for work (after Steve learns his wife is pregnant), as they are driving down the highway, the cars passing by clearly have European license plates and a few traffic signs can be seen bearing European highway emblems.
