Snow White was locked up in the tower for years without contact to the outside world. It appears that, within a few days of her escape, she knows how to wear a harness, how to ride a horse, how to handle arms, and how to lead a battle army. However, if she was a princess destined to rule (in other words, to be a queen regnant, and not to be passed over for a male), then she would have been taught these things from the time she could understand the concepts or handle the equipment. By the age of 10 or 12, when she was imprisoned, her education as heir to the kingdom would have been quite far along.
