Immediately before the crash, a brief shot of the instrument panel shows a steady altitude of only 200 feet above sea level, which is impossible as the aircraft is crossing the mountains. In addition, although that altitude stays the same for one second, the vertical speed indicator reads +1,000 feet per minute.
