(at around 1h 5 mins) When Snape uses "Expelliarmus" on Lockhart, he is thrown through the air and still has his wand in his hand afterwards. The spell is supposed to make the opponent lose their wand and it is very unlikely that Snape would fail to perform the spell correctly.
