When Harry is gluing the bumper back on the car you can clearly see the bumper they are applying the glue to is concave with two flat contact points, and that the glue being applied wouldn't even touch the car. However, in the next scene with a close up of the bumper, it's now a flat sided bumper instead, which would make contact with the car.
