When they were supposedly on the aircraft carrier "Independence" there was one shot showing the flight deck and island (tower); clearly visible is the number 12, which is actually the CVS 12 USS Hornet (now a museum); the Independence is CV 62 and is mothballed in Bremerton, WA.
