When the T-1000 is shooting toward John running into the elevator, the elevator doors do not start to close until after the T-1000 has already shot around 15 bullets, he shoots around another 10 after the doors begin to close, and some of these hit the Terminator in the back or hit the back of the elevator. But when inside the elevator as Sarah and the Terminator shoot up at the T-1000 at least 20 bullet dents are shown on the inside of the elevator doors, 10 on each side, which is double what there should be if not more.
