When Johnny (Stuart Whitman) is telling his story about killing his friend. He states "I'll tell you a bedtime story of a brave Marine who killed a man. His best friend. Oh I was a good soldier."
A Marine would never ever refer to himself as a soldier. They are Marines. And they always call themselves, their friends and anyone else who's ever been in the Corps -MARINES!. Never soldiers.
