When Lara sees her dad on the cliff, she can barely walk over to grab the rope. Lara looks to be badly hurt and misses the rope at first as she starts climbing the cliff face to get up to the cave. If she was hurt badly enough to barely walk she wouldn't be able to climb the cliff.
