Possible deliberate Cold War omission by filmmakers, when the SPECTRE spaceship attacks the American spaceships it has Russian markings of CCCP and Red Star, when the SPECTRE spaceship attacks the Russian spaceship it is clean skinned. To show a continuity of plot, it should have American markings, no doubt this is deliberate by filmmakers.
