General William Grey was listed as being head of the United States Space Command. In reality, American space operations (at the time of the film's release) were coordinated by the US Air Force rather than the US Marines in which General Grey served. Even until today, The United States Space Command is always command by Air Force four-star General and never a General from different branch rather than US Air Force has ever served as the head of United States Space Command.
