In the steel foundry, Sarah shoots the T-1000 several times. He staggers backwards towards two chains strung across an opening in the platform railing. Yet when T-800 shoots T-1000 only one chain is across the opening, the lower chain. Once the T-1000 has fallen neither chain is across the opening as Sarah, John and T-800 approach the opening. No one goes near the break in the railing with chains across, so who unhooked them?
