At about 50 minutes Jimmy Ray asks Earl where he wants to go when they are setting at a gas station in a pick up truck and he says Dallas. Well they are setting outside the LongHorn Ballroom ( note the large longhorn steer statue in the background) which places them less than 2 miles from downtown Dallas.
