(at around 24 mins) When Evelyn and Rafe are on the date at the Queen Mary, Rafe pulls a lever and the lift begins to ascend, however the ropes and pulleys do not move at all. The same goes for when the lifts comes crashing down. At the last second though when they hit the water the camera is zoomed in and you see the pulleys turning and the lever spinning rapidly.
