When Snape takes the Unbreakable Vow with Narcissa, he is making promises to her about her son Malfoy. However, Bellatrix throws in a last promise for Snape to do what Voldemort's desire to have Draco do the deed, if he fails. This is in direct conflict with Dark Lords orders, which all three characters in the room admit they know in advance. Snape even says, "I can't change the Dark Lord's mind". It is a character error for all three of these people to conspire against the Dark Lord's wishes.
