In one scene, Cole Younger (Randy Travis) is singing "Auld Lang Syne." That song was not written until 1788 by Robert Burns, a Scot. It did not become popular until the 1920's in the US, around the time that Guy Lombardo began playing it with his orchestra for New Years Eve performances.
