During Professor Kelp's first, painful transition scene, a gold pinkie ring can be seen on his hairy, Hyde-like little finger. This is a flashy affectation that the nerdy Kelp would never wear. This same ring appears often in other Lewis movies, regardless of the nature of the character he is playing.
