When Harry pulls his broom up from the dive, the goals behind him are fairly close, then as he is about to catch the Snitch they goals are further behind him, then he stands on the broom and walks forward. The distance to the goals changes again. When he nearly off the broom, the goals are nearly upon him. He then falls off, catches the Snitch but he is now back at the center of the field.
