The red Jaguar is actually a mountain lion, which is also called a cougar. The main difference between the two cats are the colors of their fur coats. The jaguar is mostly black in color while the cougar is more tan. Jaguars are also called black panthers. They have similar facial features, but the nose on the jaguar gives it away. If you pay attention to the details of the nose and mouth of the "jaguar," they're clearly those of a cougar.
