The neuro helmet used to transfer the consciousnesses of Deon and Yo-Landi is designed for humans. Even if it uses technology not invented yet, the question arises how such a specialized helmet - clearly designed to work similar to an EEG recording device - could pick up anything from a machine. Even so, accessing computer data - representing a consciousness or otherwise - would be accomplished in a much better way by using an interface (plug-in style or wireless), which is built into the robots anyway.
