Dr Grant along with all of the dinosaur "experts" are unable to pronounce giganotosaurus correctly. It should be pronounced Jy-gan-oh-toh-saurus as in gigantic (huge), not giga-not-oh-saurus as in gigabyte/gigawatt etc (giga being the unit prefix in the metric system denoting a factor of a billion).
However following Latin pronunciation (considering the name is Latin) the letter G is always pronounced as in giga. The dinosaur experts are in fact very correct.
