Nell pronounces Jerry as "Jay/Jae" she should have used his named correctly because she was not physical speech impairment , her distorted language was due to way she learned the language from due to her mother's aphasia and hence the twin speak she developed with her sister. Any new word or name she would have heard would have been pronounced as such since she was not mentally challenged or autistic even.
