As the protagonists run away from Pumpkinhead through the back of the church, the camera then pans back to the left toward Pumpkinhead. Through the slats of the church, some apple crates are briefly visible, which are supporting a rostrum (platform) which the crew had erected to support Pumpkinhead's movements during that sequence.
