In the previous two films, which put Braddock's capture in 1972, Braddock (Chuck Norris) is shown wearing full bird Colonel's insignia and Special Forces badges. In this film, set in 1975, he is wearing Lt. Colonel's rank badges and is assigned to the 101st Airmobile.Apart from the name of Colonel Braddock and the overarching theme of his imprisonment in Vietnam, this story barely connects with the two previous films in the same series.
