(at about 1:00:00 and 22:00 into the film) Near the end of the film, when Lucas crashes through the garage door being chased by the missile, you can see that both rotary machine guns have been torn off of the hood of the car. In the next scene, they show him being hit by the missile and him exploding. The rotary machine guns are suddenly right back where they were.
