During the escape from Jakku, the Millennium Falcon cuts its engines and flips upside down so Finn can shoot the TIE fighter. The Falcon is free-falling (upside down) and about to hit the ground. The scene cuts to Rey throwing the throttle lever forward. Then the scene cuts back to the Falcon, still falling, and facing the same direction as before, except now it is right-side up (note location of the cockpit), the engines come on, and they fly away.
