(at around 5 mins) When the First Lady calls the President from Los Angeles at the beginning of the movie, she tells him it's 2:45 a.m., which would make it 5:45 a.m. in Washington, DC. When their daughter wakes up and turns on the TV, The McLaughlin Group is on. This show never came on in the Washington, DC area until 11:00 a.m., and only on Sunday mornings - which also means they couldn't have seen The Late Show with David Letterman the night before (it's only on Monday-Friday nights).
