Jim Johnson is a Colonel in the National Guard which means he has roughly 15-17 years of military service. Despite this his uniform bears only his rank and the crossed cannons of the field artillery. Missing are his name tape and unit badges. Also missing are any qualification badges and/or commendations/ribbons he almost certainly would have earned.
