At the 34 minute mark and for several minutes thereafter, icicles are seen on the chairlift, both above the characters' heads and hanging down the sides of the chair. These stalactite-type of icicles are formed from water dripping then refreezing in the cold air. They don't arbitrarily appear simply due to a storm passing through.
