In the opening scenes the train pulling in shows the Headcorn "2L05", meaning an ordinary passenger train headed to Anglia, the train identified as service 05 of the day. Amin the station it suddenly reads 1N29, an express service headed to the North Eastwen region (although N ceased to be used in 1967), and identified as train 29 of the day.However, by the time the film is set head-codes were no longer shown on locomotives by BR and all had been set to '0000' or plated over with lights, so neither head-code is correctly shown anyway.
