Although the film is primarily set in the 1976 season, at the end Hunt is getting ready to board a HS125 aircraft. The registration G-IFTE is clearly shown. That particular HS125 wasn't registered as G-IFTE until May 1996. Also, Lauda's Learjet D-CTRI wasn't built until 1980.
