When the motorcycle assassin has cornered Ethan and Benji in the overturned car, William Brandt saves their lives by hitting the assassin with his car. The impact of the collision sends the biker flying through the air and presumably incapacitates or kills him. However, Brandt's vehicle comes to rest within inches of where the biker was standing, and there is no screeching of brakes or tire marks behind the car. It would not have been possible for Brandt's vehicle to travel fast enough to incapacitate the man upon impact and also stop on or near the same exact spot.
