At the laboratory where the tractor beam is located, before being stolen; we see 2 men at work trying to get the photon channeler to work so that their colonel can show it to the top brass next month. One of the men brings 2 cups of coffee into the lab, one for himself and one for his coworker. He places the coffee for his coworker down on the control panel off to his right side. When the no recess moment organization start blasting their way into the lab, the coffee cup has now moved over to the coworker's left side, without anything sign or indication that he had picked up the cup, taken a sip and then set it down again.
