At the end, McKenna is seen wearing his dress uniform. He is wearing a Ranger Beret (tan) with no unit insignia device, just a flash patch. His blue infantry cord is buttoned on top of the epaulette, instead of under it so that the attachment cord is not visible. He wears no shoulder patch to show either his current unit (left shoulder) or a combat unit (right shoulder) which he should have since his wife said he was a combat veteran with 13 kills.
