At the end, Krall and the swarm speed off to attack Yorktown. One assumes that their ships are fairly fast since they get there in minutes. The Franklin can only do Warp 4. "Horse and buggy", Sulu called it. The Franklin should have taken hours, if not days to get there instead of keeping pace with the swarm.
