(at around 7 mins) When the Check Engline light comes on, it flashes and beeps. It would not beep and the light will flash only in case of a serious malfunction of the engine, such as a spark plug misfiring, which requires immediate attention. Losing transmission fluid is not an engine problem, and in fact the transmission overdrive indicator would blink, indicating a transmission problem.
