Ducos while pretending to be the local Mayor in Bordeaux says that he and the local people are loyal to Louis Philippe but in 1813 the Bourbon claimant to the throne was Louis Stanislas Xavier, Count of Provence (the future Louis XVIII). Louis Philippe would not become King until 1830 after both Louis XVIII and Charles X.
