In the scene where Hutch, Windows, and Eric are in Linus' bedroom trying to convince him to steal the movie, Linus is enjoying candy from a Glow-In-The-Dark Emperor Palpatine Pez dispenser. This Pez dispenser was released in 2005, 7 years after the year in which the movie is set. In addition, there are several other Pez dispensers behind Eric which were also released after 1998 (including a limited edition C3PO Giant Pez dispenser).
