The Damon B. Bankston is owned by Tidewater, Inc but the OSV used in the film is actually a Hornbeck Offshore Services boat. In one shot, you can see the HOS logo on the starboard side of the deckhouse. Also, Tidewater boats have a blue hull but the vessel in the movie retains the HOS black hull, albeit with a Tidewater blue pilothouse visor.
