Towards the end of the story, Aaron Spelling and Darren Star are talking together, this is during the end of season 3 as they had been dropping ideas for the season finale which included Kimberly tying Sydney to an airplane and crashing it into the Melrose apartment complex. Aaron talks to Darren if he had ideas for Models Inc. which would be a spin-off of Melrose Place about the world of fashion because so much drama goes on in it. Models Inc. however, had already been spun-off into a series in the summer of 1994 and had concluded in the winter of 1995. At the time this event was taking place between Aaron and Darren in the story, Models Inc. had already been cancelled.
