When Mildred and Dixon walk in to his apartment there are pages of a newspaper lying on the right arm of the leather armchair as well as on the floor next to it. But later on the when Mildred sits on the right arm of the armchair, the pages are now no longer on the armchair. Then on a following cut the pages that were on the floor next to the armchair; are also no longer there.
