In the initial shootout between the robbers and the police, there were up to six cops all shooting towards the bank using automatic M15 rifles. It went on for several minutes.During this time, the robbers were standing in the window and only partially covered by some flimsy vertical blinds. Despite this, the robbers hit a few of the cops during the shootout, yet, the police never managed to hit any of the robbers.
