The wide shot of the T-1000 in liquid form, its puddles joining, looks to have the puddle in front of a rear-projection screen. A line running along the divider between foreground and background is visible, and a quick burst of steam is shot from the left side of the screen, to help establish the illusion of one fluid shot, which bounces off of the background screen, further revealing the illusion.
