In 'Opening Ceremony' scene of the '88 Winter Olympics, the flags of the Nations are displayed for a second. The flag of 'Russia' (white, blue, red) is displayed just left of center. The proper flag for the time period, would have been the same as the team, U.S.S.R. or CCCP as the Russian flag was not adopted till Dec. 11, 1993. Also when the young boy in Jamaica was keeping Olympic scores on the blackboard, he wrote 'Russia' instead of U.S.S.R.
